The featurette reveals what it was like for the cast and crew to bring this beloved novel to the big screen.

The 5th Wavenovel was first published in 2013, followed by last year’sThe Infinite Sea.Rick Yanceyis also publishing anotherbook sequel,The Last Star, set to be released sometime in 2016. We don’t have word yet on whether or not Sony plans on turning those books into movie sequels, but we’ll surely find out afterThe 5th Wavehits theaters.
