The developers have urged players to delete their old saves, for good reasons. Some of your old saves may appear, but you should not attempt to attempt to play an old save with the fully-released version. This is becausethere will be conflicts between the two versions. Even if you’re starting a brand new game, it advises everyone to delete all save files.

There are two different ways to go about this.The easiest way to delete yourBaldur’s Gate 3save files is through the game itself.

The other way to do this is through the game’s files on your PC. Although Larian Studios recommends you do it the easier way, this is also viable.

The one thing to note is that you shoulddisable cloud sync when you’re installing the full version ofBaldur’s Gate 3.This is because your saves are probably still in the cloud, and you don’t want them to download into your game. If you want to bring back cloud saves, make a new save inBaldur’s Gate 3, leave your game, then turn cloud saves back on. Otherwise, you should be fine, and any malfunctions or glitches should be minor.
