Blue Prince: How to Unlock the Apple Orchard Gate
How to solve the Apple Orchard puzzle and permanently unlock the white gate in the Blue Prince.
One of the most important puzzles to solve is how to open the West Gate Path, which permanently unlocks a secret bonus room with special benefits and upgrades available each day.
Flip the Garage Fuse in the Supply Closet
The first thing you’ll need to do is draft and enter the Supply Closet (which is a Dead End room), which contains a circuit breaker you can open. Inside the breaker, navigate down to the bottom and turn the Garage fuse to the “on” position..
Open the Garage Door
Draft the Garage room from your blueprints, which can only be done on the far west side (along the left side) of the building. It must be touching the wall to be able to be drafted.
Once you’ve drafted the room, look right next to the doorway above the keyholder on the wall. There should be a small device with a green light (if the light is red, you need to turn on the circuit) that you’re able to interact with to open up the garage door.
Unlock the West Gate
Head out the garage door and head south (turn left, towards the front of the building), crossing over the wooden plank above the stream until you reach the gate to the front entrance.
All you’ll need to do is unlock the latch with a simple interaction, and then the West Gate Path will be permanently unlocked every day moving forward. If you enter the path and go directly forward, you’ll find a door leading into a rocky cave. Opening the door reveals a unique drafting screen, which features its own drafting pool of unique rooms that each give a unique boost to your house for the rest of the day. Once the day ends, this room also resets, and can be redrafted from the pool once a day.
