Bandai Namco not long ago shared the news that they weredelaying the release of the action-RPG Code Vein to 2019. However, they are still releasing further screenshots of their upcoming JRPG. In a recent issue of Famitsu, more screenshots have been shared featuring Jack, Eva, a new area and more.

In the latest screenshots ofCode Veinwe get a look atEva Rouxwho is caught suffering from blood thirst and alsoJack Rutherfordwho has pale, gleaming eyes different from those of the Lost. We also get see the special attacks both of them wield, which include bayonet and spear weapons.
We also get a peek into a new area of Code Vein called the Castle of Sand (this is a translation so the official English name may vary upon release). It is a area that is desert-like, filled with desolate buildings and lack of greenery. In this area the Lost have been buried beneath the sad alive, awaiting their unsuspecting victims, to ambush the revenant that explore the area. Players will need to stay on their toes, as at any moment they could be attacked by these deplorable creatures.

Code Vein is now set to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2019.
