Curb Your Enthusiasmhas officially started shooting Season 10. Fans who were worried that we might have to wait another six years for the tenth season can now breathe a sigh of relief. The ninth season was well-received, earningLarry Davidhis sixth Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Emmy nomination. David, who co-createdSeinfeld, never imagined that Curb would make it to 10 seasons and at the beginning of the show, he stated that they’d be lucky to have 2 or 3.
TheCurb Your Enthusiasmtenth seasonrenewal was announced back in Decemberof last year, and fans of the cult-favorite series were unsure how long it would take Larry David to get back into the swing of things after finishing Season 9. At the time of the renewal, executive producer Jeff Schaffer revealed that the upcoming season hadn’t been fully fleshed out, and then listed some things that weren’t going to be included in the new season. He explains.
“Here’s one thing I can tell you that did not happen. Larry wasn’t killed. He does not come back like in the movieGhostand make sweet love to Cheryl at a Brentwood Color Me Mine.”

David ended up with a fatwa on his head for mocking the ayatollah, which was later rescinded. However, one Iranian man wasn’t aware that David had been cleared and the season ended with Larry David running away from the man, fearing for his life. Now that filming has started, we should start to see some regular updates in regard to the show as well as returning cast members and guest stars. Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, and Wanda Sykes are some of the recurring cast members who play fictionalized versions of themselves, and they will all more than likely make some cameos in the tenth season as well.
While we don’t have to wait six years forCurb Your EnthusiasmSeason 10, it’s unknown when it will premiere on HBO. But, now that production has started, it shouldn’t be too long before we get to see Larry David back on the small screen. The hit series first debuted in 2000 and consists of 90 episodes, which will probably go up to 100 by the end of Season 10. The series has received a total of 43 Primetime Emmy Award nominations as well as three Golden Globe Awards over the years.
