The First Descendantis the latest multiplayer looter-shooter from NEXON and is now available on PC and consoles. It’s a free-to-play title and has crossplay support, so players can enjoy cooperative play regardless of what platform they’re on. However, does The First Descendant have cross-progression support? Here is everything you need to know.
Does The First Descendant Have Cross-Progression?
Yes, The First Descendant has cross-progressionandcrossplay supportonall platforms.
Cross-progression allows players to pick up their progress, characters, and stats on any platform. This is especially useful if you plan on playing the title on multiple platforms like PC and PS5.
Unlike crossplay, you need a NEXON account to access cross-progression in The First Descendant. This makes sense because your data and progress have to be shared between platforms through an additional service. This is a common practice for most live-service titles. We’re just glad aNEXON account isn’t requiredif you don’t want to access this feature.

Making a NEXONaccount is pretty simple and outside of cross-progression, you can also earn Twitch drops as well.

Ali has been writing about video games for the past six years and is always on the lookout for the next indie game to obsess over and recommend to everyone in sight. When he isn’t spending an unhealthy amount of time in Slay the Spire, he’s probably trying out yet another retro-shooter or playing Dark Souls for the 50th time.
