Square Enix have shared they will be revealing more about a new Dragon Quest RPG game on January 18th.
Dragon Quest RPG Mobile Game to Be Announced on January 18th
A new Dragon Quest game will be coming to iOS and Android. Square Enix have made an announcement that they will be revealing the game on January 18th at 19:00 JST. you may watch the announcement live on the official Youtube channel.
So far a teaser website has been launched which shared the genre of the game will be “? RPG”. No doubt we’ll be getting some details during the announcement. The official tweet explains that there will be an overview of the game and some actual gameplay (according to the auto translate). No news if there will an international version/announcement as it looks to be in Japanese only.

The 35-year long-running JRPG series has seen a number of entries since its first release in 1986. The last Dragon Quest game to be released was Dragon Quest Treasures which launched inDecember. A treasure hunting RPG spinoff of the main series. Players together with monster companions can investigate potential loot in Draconia. Playing as Erik and Mia they will uncover precious items as well as bric-a-brac. What you find will be assessed, giving you a reward.
