New Archetype Progression Overview
Players will be able to unlock progress and develop thirteen different Archetypes inEA SPORTS FC 26. Each Archetype is tied to an ICON of world football and is built to those playstyles. Each will have its own unique characteristics that can be customized. Players will choose an Archetype when entering Clubs for the first time, and the other 12 can be obtained via Club Coins, FC Points or Archetype Unlock consumable items.

How to Progress Your Archetype in FC 26
Archetypes can be progressed from level 1 up to level 50 at launch, as during the season thanks to live updates, this cap will increase. The Archetype Card is the visual representation of you and your Archetype in Clubs. The tiers range from Bronze to ICON. You can expect a unique pose, background and key attributes showcased on the card.
Consumables can help progress the Archetype outside of playing matches or Skill Games. The idea behind Consumables from the devs is to help players who join Clubs later to easily catch up and make an impact. There are multiple consumables in the game that include what is listed below. These are unlocked via Season Pass rewards, objectives or in the Clubs Store.

Signature Perks will bring new on-pitch abilities to help support your selected Archetype.Each one will have two Signature Perks that are unlocked throughout the course of your progression. A third is equipped whenever there is a Specialization Active. The three types of Signature Perks are listed and described below.
Overhauling the Goaltender Position in FC 26
New controls and assistance levels will be available for those choosing to go the Goaltender route inFC 26. you’re able to also expect new PlayStyles and a revamped UI and presentation for playing as this position. Unique camera and audio treatments will be provided and can jump into Clubs Rush. Clubs Rush has been updated to reflect a few changes because of this. Maximum lobby size has increased to five with one requiring a goaltender. Matchmaking will attempt to find a squad that is similar with or without a goalkeeper plus the option to disable the search for a goalkeeper is available.
