After decades of anticipation, those excited to seeThe Long Walkadaptation will be able to do so next week at an exclusive showing of the film. MovieWeb is proud to announce that it will be hosting a screening of the new Stephen King adaptation in Los Angeles, and select fans will be able to punch their tickets free of cost. The long-awaited horror thriller will arrive in theaters nationwide on September 12, but not everyone will have to wait until then to see it.
The Long Walkis set in a post-apocalyptic world in which America has resorted to dystopian death games that include having 100 boys walk until all but one is eliminated (shot dead). It’sa harrowing storybased on King’s seminal 1979 novel that continues to be ever-so-relevant in today’s capitalist world. The film stars Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Tut Nyuot, Charlie Plummer, Ben Wang, Roman Griffin Davis, Jordan Gonzalez, Joshua Odjick, Josh Hamilton, Judy Greer, and Mark Hamill.
