Life in the world ofTainted Grail: The Fall of Avalonis not an easy one, as every single inhabitant is going through something in their life. Sometimes there are people who have gone insane and blood thirsty, or there are those who have lost their loved ones. The Branded and Exiled quest falls slightly more in line with the latter, as a woman is in dire need of help recovering her husband from a group of bandits that have branded him.

Sometimes traders traveling across Avalon are picked up by bandits, and sometimes it’s your job to get the goods back.
Accepting the Quest
There will be a number of quests to be found in the Keep in the Horns of the South, but most of them require the player to actually interact with the NPCs. There aren’t big markers over their heads; you will have to be curious and talk to virtually everyone to actually get to know them and if they have any concerns that currently plague them.
One such individual happens to be Rhosyn, a poor resident of the Keep, or at least to the west of the keep in the shacktown of sorts. After going past the checkpoint to get into the part of town from the Keep, you will have to take a small staircase up to the left, and you’ll find a woman in a little bit of distress. It would seem her husband has gone missing after a local bandit named Bald Cait went on a rampage in a nearby village.
Because her husband is a skilled tanner, he was forcibly recruited among their ranks (and put in prison) with a brand that tells people he is now a bandit. She asks you to find him and somehow bring him home.
Finding the Morris
The husband is in the desolated village that is immediately northwest of the Archspire. There are a great number of bandits scattered throughout the village, so you’re going to have to take care of them to even access The Mill where Bald Cait and Morris, the Husband, are holed up in.
Regardless, fight your way through the numerous bandits, avoiding the various arrows shot your way, and the axes aimed at your head, and head into The Mill. From here, head down the staircase where Bald Cait is waiting. She doesn’t give any warning when you enter, but instead immediately attacks. She is definitely stronger than your average bandit, but with some well-timed dodges and well-placed attacks, she will go down with a matter of strikes.
Afterward, strip her body of the key and open the cell door nearby and talk to Morris. He will be distraught given his current situation, but thanks you and takes Bald Cait’s head back to the Keep. Return to Rhosyn where you will find Moris alive and well. He will give you Bald Cait’s head to turn into Fearghas for a reward.
