Despite doing massive numbers,Once Humanis off to a rough start on PC. Its technical issues, lack of controller support, and inaccessible servers have made it hard to recommend in its current state. It also has limited resolution options, especially for players with less-common aspect ratios. If you want to play at a specific resolution or want to utilize your DSR factors, here is how you can fix these issues in Once Human.
Fixing Resolution Issues in Once Human
To use a custom resolution in Once Human, you need to edit the GraphicConfig.xml file and play the game in Windowed mode, paired with Borderless Gaming. If you want to use DSR factors, you need to set up the resolution of your desktop to the desired value.
Configuration File Edit and Borderless Gaming
First, if you want to use a specific resolution that isn’t available in the options, but your monitor supports it, then you can edit theGraphicConfig.xmlfile located in the following location inside the installation folder.
After that, launch Once Human, and you will see your desired resolution in the settings. However, to use it, you need to play in Windowed mode. To remove this requirement, we’ll use Borderless Gaming.
This will fill up the screen nicely, and you won’t have to deal with any borders like you have to in Windowed mode.
Enable DSR in Once Human: Change Desktop Resolution
To enable DSR while playing Once Human, you need to change the resolution of your desktop to your desired resolution set up according to the DSR value (resolution) in the NVIDIA control panel.
After you’re done, you’ll see the desired resolution options in the settings.

For now, these are the only two viable solutions for fixing the resolution issues. We hope that the developers add more options, and allow players to downsample as well. However, given the technical state the game is currently in, it’ll be a while before this issue is likely addressed before more pressing problems.
