How Does the Tombstone Perk Work in MW3

The Tombstone Perk keeps all of your valuable items, such as schematics and blueprints on you after death. Keep in mind you’ll pretty much lose anything outside of your backpack, such as weapons, armor, Killstreaks, and so on. Tombstone is a great way to get a huge jump on a new map instead of starting from zero.

How to Get Tombstone Can in MW3 Zombies

The first method to get the Tombstone perk is to receive it as an in-game reward for completing Contracts or searching caches in the environment. Finding it can be random for both.

Another way is to purchase it from aPerk Machinethat specifically sells it or the Der Wunderfizz machines for 2,000 Essence. The Tombstone and Der Wunderfizz machines are noted on the map.

Players can also get the Tombstone perk for free byvisiting the south side of the map in the image above, and pinging a stuffed rabbit sitting high above on a crane. Pinging can be done with Up on the D-Pad or a Mouse button. Pinging it will blow it up to a huge proportion, and the perk will appear in a reward portal in front of you.

How to Craft Tombstone Perk in MW3 Zombies

The final method to get the Tombstone perk is to craft it before matches. However, this requires players to unlock the Tombstone Soda Can schematic, which canbe received by completing random Contractsin the red High Threat Zone.

Players will have to successfully exfil with the recipe once received to craft the Tombstone perk. Once crafted and placed the rucksack before a match,players will have to wait three hours before crafting another Tombstone Soda Can.
