It’s no secret that iOS’ nativeclipboardleaves a lot to be desired, and that should underscore why there’s been such an uptick in the number of clipboard manager-centric apps andjailbreak tweaksfor iOS as of late.

Although we’ve come to appreciate much of what’s available already, we’re also excited to discuss a new free release calledCopypastaby iOS developerNepeta. Its ultra-clean interface paired with the lack of a price tag make it a compelling option for many.

As you’ll notice in the screenshot examples above, Copypasta adds a specialized grabber to the bottom of thekeyboardinterface whenever you begin typing in any app on your handset. Tapping once on the grabber launched the Copypasta interface, allowing you to see everything you’ve copied or cut elsewhere in iOS.

One thing we especially like about Copypasta is that it reveals the app from which the clipboard entry was copied or cut. When you tap on any of those items, the tweak automatically inserts it wherever your cursor is at that moment in time.

Copypasta adds a preference pane to the Settings app where you can configure the tweak to your liking:

Based on just how much you can do with Copypasta, the beautifully-polished user interface, and the lack of a price tag, it’s hard not to recommend to everyone.

The only thing we found to be a nuisance about it was that the grabber makes it tempting to want to swipe up, which clashes with theControl Centergesture on older, non-notched devices. Obviously, you can tap on the grabber to use the tweak or use the dictation button option instead to avoid this. Notched handsets won’t have this issue from the get-go since the Control Center gesture originates at the top of the display.

If you’re interested in trying Copypasta, then youcan download it for free from the Nepeta repositoryin Cydia or Sileo. The tweak supports alljailbrokeniOS 11 and 12 devices andis open source via the developer’s GitHub page.
