Chris Evans’ recent Apple TV+ action-romcom,Ghosted, starring Ana de Armas as a CIA spy and Evans as a honey farmer, has been ghosted by almost everyone after being declared the worst movie ever. While 2023 has been a truly dreadful year for romcoms,Ghostedhas become the number-one target of critics, who continue to troll the Dexter Fletcher-directed movie. One review, for instance, mentions that it looks like the movie’s script was written by ChatGPT.

The 2023 romcom,Ghosted, starring two notable actors,Ana de ArmasandChris Evans(also the producer), has been declared the worst movie ever as critics continue to troll the Dexter Fletcher-directed film.
From a lack of chemistry between Evans and theBlondestar to a poor script, the movie currently holds 33% on the Rotten Tomatoes review aggregator. One of the cruelest criticism came from The Daily Beast’s Obsessed, which published an entire article, slammingGhostedas the“worst movie of the year,”adding:
“Featuring not a single convincing element or exchange, this fiasco plays like a wannabe-Knight and Day exercise in eliciting annoyed reactions: groans for its awful one-liners, exclamations for its moronic plot twists, and eyerolls for its terrible CGI and desperate cameos. It feels like ChatGPT wrote it, and the fact that it didn’t is all the more damning for those who did.”
Other notable reviewers believe that the movie“can’t figure out how to make its individually likable leads work as a couple.”The movie lacks a tangible connection, with Armas and Evans being the most“mismatched pair”ever. Even though some scenes are humorous, it’s not enough to pull a good rom-com.

Chris Evans Is Better Off With Action Movies
The Avengers: Endgamestar, Chris Evans, whose work in the MCU franchise established him as one of the highest-paid actors, might have to reconsider his professional decision. Since the release of Ghosted,the actor-producer of the“failed romcom”has become subject to numerous trolls. It goes without saying that Evans must stick to what he does best, i.e. continue being an action hero.
While it’s true that every actor struggles with one or two flops, suffering defeat at this juncture of his career may be a bit worrying for the 41-year-old star. It’s not just the lack of chemistry between two promising artists that makeGhostedthe worst movie ever, but it’s also the terrible CGIs and desperate cameos that would want you to turn off the screen.
