DuringVariety’schat, Jackman revealed that he had once asked Jerry Seinfeld why he chose to close down his showSeinfeld.The comedian’s reply changed Jackman’s mind regarding his own X-Men projects.

James Mangold is the director ofLoganandThe Wolverine.Having worked extensively with Hugh Jackman, Mangold wanted Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman to join hands way before Disney took over Fox Studios. In an interview withComicBook, the director stated that he would have liked a Wolverine-Deadpool buddy-cop traveling movie.

“A really fun ’48 Hours’ style buddy picture with those two.
