STORY HIGHLIGHTS:
New Apple trade-in offers target LG customers
Apple is now allowing LG customers to trade in the following devices when buying an iPhone:
The exact trade-in value depends on the overall state of the device, battery health, whether or not the screen is smashed and whether the device boots at all, to mention but a few factors.

You must mail in your device before Apple can give you an estimate of its value, at which point you can choose whether you’d like to receive an Apple Store credit toward a future iPhone purchase or have your old smartphone mailed back.
Apple doesn’t charge a fee for recycling your old phone.
Apple GiveBack is our trade-in and recycling program that’s good for you and the planet. If your trade-in device is eligible for credit, you can offset the purchase price of a new one. If it’s not eligible for credit, you can recycle it for free.
LG recently shocked the industry by announcing it would beexiting the cutthroat smartphone business in July 2021as it sharpens focus on electric vehicle components, connected devices, smart homes, robotics, artificial intelligence and business-to-business solutions.
The Korean company will provide service support and software updates for customers of its existing smartphones for a period of time which varies by region.
