Over seven years ago, in March 2017, a Chinese developer named Yang Bing announced a promising hack-and-slash action RPG with RPG elements, inspired by titles likeDevil May Cry and Final Fantasy XV.
For years, there was no news about the project until Sony revealed it would publish the game under the PlayStation Studios label, with Ultizero Games as the developer and Yang Bing as the director.

Finally, following a demo showcased at ChinaJoy 2024 and the promise of more details soon, Lost Soul Aside has answered many questions with a new gameplay trailer on PS5.
The trailer was published through PlayStation’s official channels, confirming the release year and revealing new gameplay details. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the game will also launch on PC via Steam.

Simultaneous PS5 and PC Release
Ultizero Games confirms a simultaneous release for PS5 and PC (via Steam) in 2025, though a specific release date has yet to be announced. The downside for PC players is that the Steam version will require a PlayStation Network account, a condition that may not sit well with some users. Similar requirements were seen in Until DawnandGod of War: Ragnarokin recent months.
Fans can already addLost Soul Asideto their wishlist on both the PS Store and Steam, though minimum and recommended PC specifications, as well as PS5 technical features, have not yet been revealed.
