Unfortunately, the Devil May Cry-like JapaneseRPGLost Soul Aside has been delayed from its initial May release date to help with the game’s polish, as announced during a social media post on Tuesday. The game will now launch in late August, making it a launch closer to the fall.

“To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game,” said Game Director & CEO of the developer Yang Bing. The game will now launch on July 02, 2025 for the PS5 and PC. you’re able to pre-order the game on both platforms via the PlayStation Store and Steam.
RPG fans that have been following the progress of Lost Soul Aside have to wait a few more months to get their hands on this adventure. “We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our fans waiting for the launch,” said Bing.
The game began development in 2014 and seems to be inspired bySquare Enix’s Final Fantasy XV. It’s a game with flashy combat that lets you switch weapons on the fly.
Lost Soul Aside is a part of PlayStation’s China Hero Project that has gathered developers from the area and has helped them publish their games. Other games under the same initiative includeF.I.S.T: Forged in Shadow Torch, In Nightmare, and Anno: Mutationem.
A successful game that was also published by PlayStation is Stellar Blade, which has received commercial and critical acclaim. This was from a South Korean studio.
