Developer Mojang have announced the dungeon-crawler Minecraft Dungeons fourth paid DLC called Flames of the Nether will release this February.

The fourth paid DLC for the spinoff dungeon crawlerMinecraft Dungeonstitled Flames of the Nether will be releasing onFebruary 24th.

The details are few at the moment, butMojang sharedthat the Flames of the NetherDLC, will lead players on an adventure to the heart of Minecraft’s otherworld. It will feature six new missions across “familiar biomes as you’ve never seen before”. Players can also enjoy newartifacts,weapons, andarmorto obtain, plus two new skins, as well as a Baby Ghast pet.

There is also free content on the way for all players, with a free update which is described as the “most ambitious free update in Minecraft history”. The update will include a major new feature called Ancient Hunts, introducing procedurally-generated end-game missions. Completing Ancient Hunts and overcoming Ancient mobs will grant players Gilded Gear. Be rewarded with Gold, a new currency that can be spent at the new Piglin merchant at your camp. More information will be released closer to launch.

BothMinecraft DungeonsFlames of the NetherDLC and the free update will arrive on February 24th. Minecraft Dungeons is currently available on Xbox One, PC, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
