Singularity 6 Corporation has launched the new update 0.194 for the cozy gamePalia. Titled Botanical Bliss, it adds various gameplay elements and tweaks to the free-to-play life simulator as part of the celebrations of the game’s second anniversary.
Welcome to a Fantasy World
Palia is a life simulation game set in a fantasy world. The game was originally released on PC in 2023 through their own site, followed by its Switch launch in the same year. It’d only become available on Steam back in March 2024, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions in May 2025. So far, the game’s still in Open Beta with regular updates every month.
As a cozy experience, the game includes many activities for players to try out. It’s possible to gofishing, mining, hunting, gardening, cooking and crafting items with the resources you obtain. Players can also customize their characters and build homes, making furniture that can be used as decor.

With every update, the world of Palia grows bigger. Botanical Bliss introduces new quests, new flowers, new plushes, and a few adjustments to how the game works, like removing inventory limitations for the quest bags. The big centerpiece in the update, however, is the Flower Bloom Event, a daily activity for players to try out.
Every day at 12 PM game time, in one of six random spots in Kilima, there will be orange mist and little green sprouts. It’s up to players to gather together to either water the sprouts or pull away weed that could get in the way of the sprouts blooming. With more hands on deck, it’ll be easier to coordinate and get the rewards, which include Sundrop Lilies, Spice Sprouts, Wild Garlic, sellable weeds, and many other flowers.

A Full List of Improvements and Additions
There will be 10 new flowers, including Fern, Cypress Tree, Coastal Bush, and Flowering Bushes of various colors. There will also be 9 new “Greenhome” planters, including a basket, a flower box, and multiple pots made of different materials. All of these items can be obtained as part of the Flower Bloom dynamic event in Kilima.
A new system introduced in the patch is the Bulletin Board, a place to find smaller quests to do. These missions add extra objectives and even a bit of narrative for players, but they will only be available for a limited time. With every new big update, these quests will be replaced, so it’ll be necessary to complete them while they’re still active to get their rewards.
The Bulletin Board has an intro quest that will be available once players build their house or first add-on, with Kenli showing up to ask the player something. This month’s quests have “Midsummer” as a theme and completing them all will lead to a conclusive quest that gives players extra rewards and more friendship points with Kenli. There will also be 8 flower nameplates to get.
As part of the celebrations of the game’s second anniversary, it’ll be possible to get two cupcake plushes by logging in. Three other new plush items will be available by fishing where Floatfish would normally appear.

Another new element is the possibility to use the gameplay wheels with a single tap instead of having to hold the button. This will be added to the accessibility options in the game.
