There are several locations that you need to visit as part of the Secrets of Creation quest inPathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. One of these is the Core of the Riddle, which happens to have its own puzzle. Pathfinder: Wrath of the RighteousCore of the Riddle puzzle and Ravaged Longhouse guide
Similar to the original puzzle inConundrum Unsolved, you’ll use slab items (i.e., blocks with symbols). The user interface is atrocious because it’s hard to actually discern what these symbols look like in your inventory before you place them down. As such, we’ll try our best to provide screenshots, but we’ll also include our own naming convention for some symbols.
Anyway, one of the portals in the Heart of Mystery leads to the Core of the Riddle location. If you exit this area, you’ll find yourself somewhere southwest of Greengates and Molten Scar.
The runic symbols here are blue in color. That means we’ll need to look for blue slabs. You’ll find these in the Ravaged Longhouse, which is close to Terendevel’s Lair.
Enter the basement and defeat a dozen or so Unhallowed Bodaks there. Then, open the ornate chest and grab all the slabs.
Return to the Core of the Riddle puzzle inPathfinder: Wrath of the Righteousand place down the slabs with only one blue symbol. You might be too excited that you’ll end up plopping down everything based on what we’ve learned fromConundrum Unsolved(i.e., place the slabs that match the ones on the edge). However, this one is a bit trickier than that.
The three symbols on the right-hand side are actually meant to trick you. Instead, just look at the lone symbol (the one that looks like the number/pound sign). Place the tile seen below:
Continue placing down the remaining slabs until it looks like the one in the next image.
Notice how you don’t actually see anything that matches the three symbols to the right?
You can see the completed puzzle in the next image, so just try to copy the entire pattern. When you’re done, a secret door will open. Pick up the Elven Notes for the Storyteller and the Flaming Starknife +3.
