Event Date and Time
The latest Pokemon GO event, Blaze New Trails, will be held fromFriday, June 15, 2025, at10:00 AMtoMonday, July 05, 2025, at8:00 PM local time.
Explore With the New Routes Feature
Pokemon GO is releasing a new feature during the event called Routes. Routes allow a player to follow along a created route, noting significant landmarks and other interesting sightings. Players will have a chance to find Pokemon which are region exclusive to their location, as well as Zygarde Cells. In the future, players will be able to construct their own Routes for other players to explore.

New Pokemon
During the event, Zygarde will make itsPokemon GOdebut. You will be able to collect Zygarde Cells as you interact with the Routes feature. More information will be provided with the special research ‘From A to Zygarde‘. For now, Zygarde will only be obtainable in 10% Zygarde form.

TheBlaze New Trailsevent does not last long but theRoutes featureandZygarde Cellcollection are permanent additions to the game and you will be able to continue to collect Zygarde Cells long after the event itself ends.
