Sony are to reveal more details about upcoming PS5 on March 18th, as Mark Cerny the lead system architect will take a “deep dive” into the new system.

Sony have announced via their official Playstation Twitter account that they will be sharing more information on the inner workings of the next-generation consolePS5on March 18th at 9 AM PT. Mark Cerny the lead system architect will be taking us through the inner workings and how it will “shape the future of games”.
It’s slightly unclear in what exact format they will be revealing this new info, but simply state to check the Playstation Blog during that time. With the current situation happening in the world, reveals are taking a different form this year. Microsoft unveiled new technical details for Xbox Series X through a blog post on Xbox Wire. Looks like PS5 details will be having a similar unveiling.

So far there have been afew details surrounding PS5, and plenty of rumours includingpossible backwards compatibilitywith past console games, PS1 through 3. Hopefully we’ll get a better look at what will go into PS5 tomorrow.

Playstation 5will launch in the holidays of 2020, no confirmed release date has been shared as of yet.
