Sometimes in Star Wars Outlaws, you’ll end up with items that are worth more than just Credits. When you arrive in Mirogana andmeet crime boss Gorak, Nix will sneakily snag his ring for you.
Gorak’s Ring is marked as “safe to sell”when you hover over it at a shop, but the game warns that itcould have some use later. Since your reputation with each criminal Syndicate is incredibly important in Star Wars Outlaws, you really don’t want to get on Gorak’s bad side this early in the game. What’s the best move with Gorak’s Ring, then?

Should you sell Gorak’s Ring in Star Wars Outlaws?
There are three things you can do with Gorak’s Ring in Star Wars Outlaws. The first and most simple thing to do is sell it.You can get 500 Credits for Gorak’s Ring— which isn’t a whole lot in the grand scheme of things — but if you prefer working with Crimson Dawn over the Pykes and don’t care about Gorak’s feelings, then there’s really nothing stopping you from just getting rid of the ring.
However,Gorak will demand that you return his ringif you encounter him during a story quest in the first few hours of the game. When you repair the Trailblazer andinfiltrate an Imperial shipwith Waka in one of the first main missions of the game, you’ll be given a choice toeither frame the Pykes or Crimson Dawnwith the data you find.
Should you return or keep Gorak’s Ring?
If you choose toframe Crimson Dawn(which benefits the Pykes), your next objective will be to visit Gorak. He’ll ask for his ring backduring this meeting. At this point, you can either return it or keep it for yourself.
If youreturn Gorak’s Ring, then yourreputation with the Pykes will improveby a small amount. If youkeep the ring, yourreputation with the Pykes will decrease. Thereputation boostis worth more than the Credits you could get, so we recommend just giving it back to him.
There are a few other items like this in Star Wars Outlaws, so pay attention to item descriptions. Even if an item is marked “safe to sell,” there may be alternative uses for it that are worth more than the Credits you would receive at a shop. Remember thatincreasing your reputation with each Syndicate will net you unique rewards, so keeping everyone happy should be your main priority as an outlaw.
