Warzone 2DMZ: How to find the Dead Drop at the Zaya Observatory
First things first, Zaya Observatory is a POI on the Al Mazrah map, so you need to queue for Al Mazrah on this mission. It’s located toward the middle of the map, just northwest of Akhdar Village. There are squads of AI enemies here, so be careful. If you bring a vehicle to the back side of the mountain, there are paths you climb while avoiding detection from the AI. When you’ve reached Zaya Observatory, head to the cluster of three buildings on the northeastern edge of the POI. The Dead Drop is in a dumpster between the two buildings next to each other.
Here is the exact location:
Simply interact with the Dead Drop to receive the GPS tracker. From there, you’ll need to visit each POI in Al Mazrah with the GPS tracker in your inventory within one deployment. While this sounds difficult, vehicles found throughout the map, especially helicopters, make this significantly easier.
Of course, you also need to successfully extract with the GPS tracker after collecting the data on all these POIs. We recommend getting yourWarzone 2DMZ squad in a helicopter, collecting the Zaya Observatory Dead Drop, flying to each POI, and heading to the nearest extraction point.
