After you arrive at Griffin’s Reach Tradepost inDune: Awakening, you can start completing contracts, which are side quests that let you pick up some nice experience and Solari. This can be great if you’re close to leveling up and just need a little more experience for it, or if you want to get some extra currency to use for purchasing items or fast traveling.

While the first contract that introduces you to the system is just delivering copper ore, the next one is called “Wrecking Crew,” and it asks you to head to a wreckage and find the Holtzman Amplifier that should be inside.
Finding the Wreckage
First, you need to get to the right wreckage. Contracts have their own symbol, which is the fountain pen tip, and if the contract requires you to go to a specific location, then you may find that location marked on your map with the contract symbol. For “Wrecking Crew,” you need to head to the wreck of the Alcyon. This is to theeast of Griffin’s Reach, and when you get there, you can actually enter the wreckage under the side that’s tilted up higher.
Finding the Holtzman Amplifier
As for the actual amplifier, you might feel like you’re going to miss it in the middle of fighting the enemies that are found in Alcyon. However, the amplifier is tucked into theback of the Alcyon. Keep going deeper into the ship from the area you entered, and you’ll reach a control room that has a hologram of a planet on the right. Go straight to the wall and find the little chest sitting there. Open it up and take the loot, which includes the Holtzman Amplifier you need for “Wrecking Crew.”
After you have the Holtzman Amplifier, all you have to do is make your way back out of the Alcyon and return to Griffin’s Reach. You deliver the amplifier to the Contract Board and accept your reward. What’s nice is that the next set of contracts from the board asks you to deliver resources that you might already have on you, which results in a nice boost of experience and Solari in Dune: Awakening.
