How to Get Wingdrake Hide
The Wingdrake Hide inMonster Hunter Wildscan be obtained by eliminating either Harpios or Baunos creatures out in the Windward Plains area. You’ll spot plenty in the northern section of the map around thenumber 13near the Vigorwasp. Once you’re in the area, look up in the air for flying creatures. Chase them down on your mount. Once you get close to them, use your Slinger to bring them down. If you’re on a PS5 or using a DualSense controller, hold the R2 button and press circle to pull them down to the ground, Scorpion style. You can even say “Get over here,” but it’s not necessary. Once they’re brought down, jump off your mount and eliminate them with your weapon.
Once they’ve been killed, sheath your weapon with the square or X (Xbox) button, and then carve the Wingdrake Hide from them.
Alternate Location for Wingdrake Hide
Just outside the camp, head into the red water around the2 and 5locations on the world map of theScarlet Forest. You’ll find two Harpios flying around the middle of these two spots. It’s also just before you go up the waterfall area.

How to Fast Travel
Once you’ve found the Wingdrake Hides you need in Monster Hunter Wilds, you may want tofast travel. To do that, open your map with the touchpad button (if you’re on the PS5 or using a DualSense controller). After that, select the World Map with triangle (or Y on Xbox). Select the biome you want and then choose the Base Camp. The Base Camp is where Gemma is located. She’s the smithy by the fire. You can then either forge armor or weapons with her. You can create the Rey Sandcoil here, which provides 26 DEF.
