Call of Duty: Black Ops VI
One of the most anticipated announcements of this new Xbox Games Showcase, the latest installment of Call of Duty and the first since the acquisition of Activision Blizzard was confirmed.
Call of Duty: Black Ops VI has unveiled its trailer focused on the Gulf War campaign, confirming the presence of Saddam Hussein as one of the main villains in the title. It will be released on October 25th on Xbox consoles, PlayStation, and PC, as previously leaked.
DOOM: The Dark Ages
Following theCall of Dutytrailer, which was already known, comes the first World Premiere of the event. Id Software is gearing up for its newDOOM, following the award-winning DOOM Eternal of 2020, and this time with a change of setting.
DOOM: The Dark Agesswaps Mars and Hell for forests and castles, introducing new weapons like a saw-toothed shield or maces, but also features mechs or winged mounts, a Mechan Dragon.DOOM The Dark Ageswill be released in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S and PC, available from day one on Xbox Game Pass. It will also be available on PS5 at launch.
State of Decay 3
Set years after a zombie apocalypse that nearly wiped out humanity,State of Decay 3is the next evolution in the State of Decay franchise. As the zombie threat continues to claim lives, you must fight and reclaim lost ground, forging a life for your community of survivor colonists. At the moment, it does not have a release window, so we’ll have to keep waiting.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
After all the rumors that have been circulating in recent days, the name change for the next installment of Dragon Age is finally confirmed.
At the Xbox Games Showcase, a vibrant trailer forDragon Age: The Veilguardwas shown, highlighting some of the particularities of this new title. Gather the Veilguard and challenge the gods inDragon Age: The Veilguard, an immersive single-player RPG where you become the leader others believe in. When the corrupt gods are released from centuries of darkness, the odds will be against you. You can’t do this alone.
Gather a team of seven companions, each with rich and deep background stories. These are characters you can befriend and even fall in love with. Among them, an assassin, a necromancer, and a detective, each bringing their own experience and unique skills to the fight. You are never alone; decide who to take into battle and together face demons, dragons, and even ancient gods. It will premiere in the fall of 2024.
Starfield: Shattered Space
It was assured thatBethesdawould provide information about the expansion ofStarfield,the space RPG, which will be released this year, with no confirmed date, featuring a new story where a cosmic threat will terrorize Dazra City, the capital of the hidden homeworld of House Va’Ruun.
Although tonight Bethesda will have an update ready with new content, including community creations: Creations brings official mod support to Starfield, as they did with Skyrim, along with an official and free creation kit on Steam.
Fallout 76
Taking advantage of the renewed interest in Fallout after the Prime series, Bethesda announces a new expansion forFallout 76, the first map expansion for thisMMORPG, which now has more players than ever.
In this expansion, players explore the southern region of Shenandoah, where they will investigate the origin of an electrical storm that ravages the region and uncover the mysteries surroundingVault 63and its inhabitants. It will be available on June 12th onXbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Also onPS5 and PS4. Additionally,Fallout 76is also available withXbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
French studioSandfallInteractive and publisher Kepler present their game for the first time, anRPGwith turn-based combat featuring picturesque characters and even more exaggerated monsters, amidst the ruins of what was once Paris.
Expedition 33 will be released in 2025 onXbox Series X|S and PC, and will be available on Game Pass from day one. It will also be coming to PS5.
South of Midnight
Compulsion Gamesis one of the most impressive and unique studios in Xbox’s portfolio, and the presentation of their new game in the last edition raised many doubts, which they have now resolved with this new trailer.South of Midnightis a new third-person action-adventure.
When a hurricane ravages Prospero, Hazel is swept into a southern gothic world where reality and fantasy intertwine, and ancient creatures from folklore emerge. It will arrive in 2025.
World of Warcraft: The War Within
While many were expecting a possible announcement ofWorld of Warcraftcoming to consoles, we’ll have to keep waiting. Blizzard’spresence at the event focused on a new trailer for their upcoming expansion. Throughout the ages, powerful heroes have risen to defend Azeroth. Now, at the dawn of a new saga, darkness calls from the very heart of the world. The expansion,The War Within, launches on August 26th.
Metal Gear Solid : Snake Eater
The remake ofMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eateris surprisingly shown at theXbox Showcasewith a spectacular trailer, giving a huge facelift to the PS2 classic, which we recently played in the Konami collection.
However, Konami still hasn’t provided a date for this remake, in which Hideo Kojima has had no involvement, but we know it will be multiplatform(Xbox, PC, and also PS5), unlike Silent Hill 2, which is exclusive to PS5.
Sea of Thieves
One of Xbox’s flagship titles couldn’t be missing from such a significant event. Seize the powerful flagship of Flameheart and become the boss fight with a new type of World Event coming in Season 13 ofSea of Thieves!Rain fire upon your enemies with a crew of skeletons at your command as you fend off rival crews, seek Tribute, and reap the rewards of your wicked deeds. Get ready to embark on an epic journey with Flintlock, the explosive indie Souls-lite from the creators of Ashen, which will be released on July 18th on all current-generation platforms.
Age of Mythology: Retold
On September 4th, 2024, it will be time to receive this new video game on Xbox and PC. The InitiativeandCrystal Dynamicsshowcase the first gameplay trailer of the long-awaited reboot of Perfect Dark, once again starring Joanna Dark. This first-person shooter and sci-fi spy saga, originally created on Nintendo 64 by RARE, has changed hands since the last installment,Perfect Dark Zeroon Xbox 360. Featuring first-person infiltration, stealth, exploration, melee combat, and parkour, with spectacular graphics. But Perfect Dark is still without a release date.
Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred
The battle against Hatred has just begun. Venture into the new region of Nahantu in search of Neyrelle, who suffers the consequences of her choice to imprison the Prime Evil Mephisto and seeks a means to destroy him. It’s the turn of Xbox’s quintessentialRPGsaga, which is finally returning courtesy of Playground Games. A new gameplay trailer showcases a great sense of humor and sensational graphics from the creators of Forza Horizon, now serving a fantasy world. Fable is confirmed for 2025 onXbox Series X|S and PC.
While many of the games featured in thisXbox Games Showcasewere already known beforehand, there was also room for new announcements likeFragPunk. A fast-paced 5v5 hero shooter with power-up cards that change the rules of combat.
Choose your hero, customize your weapon loadout, and select from a variety of cards that change each round to gain an advantage over your opponents. It will also be available in 2025.
Winter Burrow
Debut trailer of Winter Burrow, a “cozy” survival and crafting game starring a mouse returning home, with beautiful storybook graphics. Gather resources, socialize with neighbors, knit cute sweaters… This adorable game will be released in Early Access in early 2025 onXbox Series X|S and PC.It will be available on Game Pass from day one.
Beethoven and Dinosaur studio, creators ofThe Artful Escape, and publisher Annapurna present a very nostalgic narrative game set in the 1990s, a coming of age story with music from authentic bands of the era. This world premiere will be released in 2025 onXbox, PC, and will be day one onGame Pass.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the next installment in the Microsoft Flight Simulator franchise. It is the most ambitious consumer flight simulator ever made, designed to leverage the latest technologies in simulation, cloud, machine learning, graphics, and gaming. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 goes beyond merely operating the aircraft; it will allow simmers to pursue their dream of a career in aviation. It already has a release date: November 19th.
The Elder Scrolls Online
As part of the celebration for the 10th anniversary of Bethesda’sMMORPG,The Elder Scrolls Online, ESO Plussubscription will be free for everyone until June 19th. With this, you’re able to play all DLCs for free, except the new one.
This ESO Plus trial includes all past chapters, except the new “Gold Road,” on all platforms and “Necrom” on consoles.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure
Deck Nine, creators of True Colors, are now in charge of theLife is Strangeseries (IP still owned by Square Enix). The protagonist will be able to open portals to parallel worlds.Life is Strange Double Exposurewill be released on October 19th onXbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Lucasfilm Games and MachineGames, creators of Wolfenstein, are working on Indy’s first major interactive adventure in fifteen years. As already known, the game will be a mix of first and third-person (mostly first-person). Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released in 2024.
It’s one of the most promising games in Xbox’s catalog and with its new gameplay trailer, it’s clear that it’s one of the console’s greats of the new generation. At the moment, it still doesn’t offer a specific date, so it’s still expected for this year. Get ready for this solo adventure set between Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Get your hat and whip ready for an epic adventure that will take you around the world inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle. You’ll embody the legendary archaeologist and confront abject forces to unravel one of history’s most unfathomable mysteries. It doesn’t have an exact date, December was rumored, but it’s certain to be exclusive toXbox Series X|S and PC.
Mecha BREAK
Mecha BREAKis a multiplayer game that allows players to choose from a variety of mechs, customize their appearance, and fight against colossal war machines in treacherous terrain, offering an expansion compared to what had been seen in previous events. Its beta will arrive in August of this year.
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers
Set in the twilight of the Ming Dynasty, this actionRPGin the style of soulslike takes you on a journey through a cursed land full of danger and mystery. Play as Bai Wuchang, a pirate warrior cursed with ornithropy, and uncover the secrets of your forgotten past.

Avowedis one of the Xbox games that has been showcasing its credentials for some time but has yet to offer a definitive release date, something that has been repeated on this occasion. Explore the Living Lands, a mysterious island full of adventure and danger.
As a representative of Aedyr, you are sent to investigate rumors of a plague spreading with a secret that threatens to destroy everything. Can you save the island and your soul from the forces that threaten to separate them? It is still expected for this same year.
Rebellionpresents a new first-person action game, set in what appears to be a quiet English village, using all kinds of weapons to crack skulls and destroy robots. Atomfall is a single-player survival game, coming toXbox Series X and PC in 2025. Also on PS5.
